Welcome to Apple Orchard Alpacas!
A
pple Orchard Alpacas is a family owned and operated alpaca farm located in North East Wisconsin. We had lived on our farm for 5 years when we decided we wanted to make good use of the 5 acres we lived on. When we found out that alpacas are animals that are easy to care for, fun to show, and have adorable faces we found them hard to resist. But what really sealed the deal was when Dick found out about the investment potential of raising alpacas

So, 10 years later, our herd has grown from 4 animals to over 20. Dick has become an experienced shearer and Patty, experienced in spinning and knittis is currently apprenticing to be a certified fiber sorter. We have both been active in the alpaca community throughout these 10 years doing everything from participating on national committees, organizing local events, and serving on boards. It has been a busy 10 years but the friends we have made, the fun we have had we can attribute to these wonderful animals called!
